Before you join
Add play.thecoilmc.com in Minecraft: Java Edition and allow the server resource pack when prompted. The pack carries The Coil's custom models, furniture, gear, and other visual details; no modpack is required.
- Read the rules before settling in.
- Join Discord if you want updates, support, or people to build with.
- Keep the live map nearby while you look for a home.
Your first hour
- Say hello, explore spawn, and get a feel for the permanent Survival world.
- Choose a home with breathing room, then protect it before committing to a large build.
- Use the Resource World for heavy mining and gathering so the main world stays beautiful.
- Pick one progression path (Fishing, Farming, Mining, Jobs, or Quests) and let the others unfold naturally.
A strong first loop
- Build a safe starter home and claim it.
- Gather in the Resource World and bring materials home.
- Start a Job or open /q and begin a story quest that matches what you already enjoy doing. Start the quest before doing its objectives.
- Vote when you can to earn Coils and help trigger the server-wide Vote Party.
- Visit player shops before grinding an item another player already specializes in.
